Get Started with Intuidy AI
This guide walks you through enabling and using AI features in Vantage for the first time. You'll be up and running in under 5 minutes.
Prerequisites
- A Vantage account with an active subscription
- Admin or Owner role (for initial AI configuration)
- (Optional) An API key from a supported LLM provider if you want to bring your own model
Step 1: Enable AI
AI is enabled by default for all Vantage organizations. If it has been disabled, an admin can re-enable it:
- Navigate to Settings → AI Features → Intuidy AI
- Verify that an AI provider is selected
- Click Save AI Settings
Tip: If you see a message that AI is unavailable, check that your organization has a valid subscription and that your admin has configured a provider.
Step 2: Choose an AI Provider
Vantage comes with Intuidy AI as the default provider — no API key required. To use a different provider:
- Go to Settings → AI Features → Intuidy AI
- Browse the list of available providers (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
- Click on your preferred provider
- If the provider requires an API key, enter it and click Save Credentials
- Select a specific model from the dropdown
- Click Save AI Settings

Step 3: Set Up AI Context
Context snippets make AI responses more relevant to your business. Set them up once and every AI interaction benefits:
- Go to Settings → AI Features → Context
- Fill in the default organization snippets:
- Company Overview — A brief description of your business
- Industry & Market — Your industry for relevant benchmarks
- Company Website — Your website URL
- (Optional) Add custom instructions to guide AI behavior across all responses
Example custom instruction:
"We are a B2B SaaS company in the fintech space. When analyzing revenue data, always highlight MRR and churn trends. Format currency in USD with commas."
Step 4: Ask Your First Question
Now try the Global AI Assistant:
- Click the AI icon in the left sidebar (or use the keyboard shortcut)
- The AI panel opens on the right side of the screen
- Type a question about your data, for example:
- "What are the key trends in my dashboard?"
- "Summarize the data in the top-right tile"
- "How do I create a new workflow?"
- The AI responds using your data context and organization snippets
Step 5: Explore Tile AI
Navigate to any dashboard and try tile-level AI features:
View a Tile Summary
Each tile displays an AI-generated summary of its data. Look for the summary text beneath or beside the tile visualization.
Open Popup AI Chat
- Click on a tile to expand it
- Click the AI icon in the expanded tile editor
- Ask a follow-up question specific to that tile's data
- The AI focuses exclusively on this dataset in its response
Step 6: Try an AI Workflow Node
If you use Vantage workflows, try adding an AI node:
- Navigate to Workflows and open or create a workflow
- Add a new node and browse the AI category
- Choose a node like AI Enrichment or AI Summary
- Configure the node's prompt (describe what you want AI to do with the data)
- Run the workflow to see AI-processed results
