Trello Create Card Documentation

Overview

The Trello Create Card node is part of the Trello integration in the Vantage workflow engine. Create a new card on a Trello list.

This node uses the Trello API through Vantage's managed credential system — no manual token handling required.

Settings

List ID

• Input Type: String
• Description: ID of the Trello list to add the card to.
• Default Value: ""

Card Name

• Input Type: String
• Description: Name of the card.

Description

• Input Type: String
• Description: Card description.

Due Date

• Input Type: String (ISO date)
• Description: Due date for the card.

How It Works

1. Receives input data from upstream nodes through configured input ports.
2. Authenticates with Trello using your connected credentials.
3. Executes the API operation with the provided configuration and input data.
4. Returns the result through the output port for downstream processing.

Error handling is built in — if the API call fails, the node throws a descriptive error with the failure reason.
