Dashboards
Dashboards are the core of the Vantage platform — customizable layouts of tiles that display your business data in real time. You can create multiple dashboards, share them with your team, and configure each tile independently.
Dashboard Basics
Creating a Dashboard
- Click "+" or "New Dashboard" in the sidebar.
- Enter a name for your dashboard.
- Choose visibility: Private, Company, or Organization.
- Click "Create" to open the empty dashboard.
Managing Dashboards
- Dashboards are listed in the sidebar under Mine, Company, and Organization.
- Set a default dashboard in Settings → Personalization → Dashboard & Sidebar.
- Delete dashboards via the Manage Dashboards modal.
Tile Library (40+ Types)
Click "Add Tile" to open the Tile Library and browse available tile types:

Configuring Tiles
- Click the edit icon (pencil) or double-click any tile.
- The Edit Tile Modal opens with:
- Data Source — Select your data connection and query
- Visualization Settings — Colors, labels, axes, sorting
- Title & Description — Set the tile header
- Filters — Apply data filters
- AI Settings — Configure AI summaries and insights
- Click "Save" to apply changes.
Resizing & Moving
- Drag by the header to reposition tiles on the grid.
- Resize by dragging edges or corners.
- The grid automatically adjusts layout.
Sharing & Visibility

AI Features on Dashboards
Every tile can leverage built-in AI:

| Tile Summaries | AI-generated explanations of what the data shows |
| Insights | AI-detected trends, anomalies, and recommendations |
| Popup AI Chat | Click into a tile for focused AI Q&A about that dataset |
| Query Generation | Use natural language to query data via the AI assistant |
| AI-Built Tiles | Use the AI Build Tile feature to create tiles from natural language descriptions |
