Answers to common questions and troubleshooting tips, compiled from across the Vantage documentation.
Account & Setup
Q: How do I create an account? Visit the sign-up page and complete the 4-step wizard: create credentials, enter company info, select a billing plan, and confirm. See Login & Setup.
Q: What happens if I forget my password? Click "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page. Enter your email, and you'll receive a reset link. Follow the link to set a new password.
Q: How do I invite team members? Go to Settings → Organization → Users and click "Add User." Enter their name, email, password, role, and company assignment.
Q: Do I need to create an Organization? Not necessarily. A single company works fine for most teams. Organizations are for businesses managing multiple departments or clients that need cross-company dashboard sharing. See Organizations & Companies.
Dashboards
Q: How many dashboards can I create? There is no hard limit on the number of dashboards. Create as many as you need.
Q: Can I share dashboards with specific people? Dashboards can be set to Private (only you), Company (all users in your company), or Organization (all users across the organization). Direct user-to-user sharing is done by setting visibility and sharing the dashboard link.
Q: How do I set a default dashboard? Go to Settings → Personalization → Dashboard & Sidebar and select a dashboard from the "Default Dashboard" dropdown.
Q: What tile types are available? Vantage offers 40+ tile types including charts (bar, line, pie, scatter), tables, metrics, CRM views, event monitors, maps, and more. See Dashboard Tiles.
Workflows
Q: How many nodes can a workflow have? There is no strict limit, but very large workflows may benefit from being split into smaller, modular workflows using the Execute Workflow node.
Q: Can I schedule a workflow to run automatically? Yes. Add a Schedule Trigger node and configure the schedule (daily, hourly, every N minutes, etc.).
Q: What happens if a workflow node fails? The node shows a red error indicator. Click the node to see the error details. The workflow stops at the failed node — downstream nodes will not execute.
Integrations
Q: How many integrations does Vantage support? 30+ integrations including databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.), cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, S3), communication (Gmail, Slack, Teams), social media, commerce, and 7 AI providers. See Platform Integrations.
Q: What happens if I delete an integration credential? Any workflows or dashboard tiles using that credential will stop working. Reconnect the integration or update the affected workflows/tiles.
Q: How do I reconnect a disconnected integration? Go to the Integrations page, find the disconnected card, and click "Reconnect" to re-authorize.
AI Features
Q: Which AI providers are supported? Intuidy AI (built-in, no setup), OpenAI, Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), DeepSeek, Grok (xAI), and Mistral.
Q: Do I need to set up an AI provider? No. Intuidy AI is available by default with no configuration. To use a different provider, add your API key in the Integrations page.
Q: What are tokens? Tokens are the usage currency in Vantage. All AI operations, workflow executions, and integration syncs consume tokens. Monitor usage in Settings → Account → Usage & Tokens.
Q: How do I add more tokens? Go to Settings → Account → Billing and purchase a token package via Stripe.
Security
Q: How do I enable two-factor authentication? Go to Settings → Account → Security and choose Email or Authenticator App (TOTP) for your 2FA method.
Q: What are passkeys? Passkeys are biometric authentication credentials (Face ID, Touch ID, security keys) that let you sign in without a password. Set them up in Settings → Account → Security → Passkeys.
Q: How do I restrict which integrations my team can use? Organization admins can set domain restrictions in Settings → Organization → Integration Settings.
Billing
Q: What billing modes are available? Prepaid (buy tokens upfront) and Pay-As-You-Go (billed at end of cycle). Switch between modes in Settings → Account → Billing.
Q: Is my payment information secure? Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe. Vantage never stores credit card information.
Q: How do I change my subscription plan? Contact support or manage your subscription through the Billing settings page.
